      CA II Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Computershare (Tempe, AZ) in Sep 2015

      Interview

The interview was first done with the recruiter. Once my salary was established with her (which was unusual to provide that first), she put me through a manager who interviewed me. The interview took an hour. She asked me the regular interviewed questions and told me about the benefits and how the bonus and attendance system works. Then she put me in a room by myself with a computer so I could take two different tests. One test was me listening to a customer and answering multiple question answers. The second test was me typing the information spoken by a customer, like his address, name, e-mail, phone number etc. Both are very easy test, but I heard a few months back they are not doing them anymore.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

The toughest question I thought it was: "What would you do if you get one bad call after another? For example, your first call of the day is about a lady who can't pay her mortgage because her husband just passed away, then your second call is from a man whose wife was just diagnosed with lung cancer and has 6 months to live and your third call..." She gave me all these horrible scenarios and asked me: "What is your motivation to keep coming back to work everyday if your calls are like that?"

      Question 2

Did you ever had a call where a customer was irate and what did you do about it? All other questions were typical call center questions.
