Interview
The interview process was intimidating, a round table with four interviewers and the interviewee is placed at the head of the table. Though, I will say they were amazing and so sweet. They did fire off the questions quickly and to the point, but also allowed time to just talk to you and answer any questions I had. They asked between 7-10 questions, followed up by a case study. You started the preinterview with a current resident who eased your anxiety, and ended with the resident providing a tour. Overall, a very positive experience with the whole crew! I cannot wait to join the team and hopefully, one day, be apart of the interview team!

Interview
The nurse residency program consists of 10 behavioral questions and 1 case study or written SBAR based on a scenario. The behavioral/personality questions are the majority of the interview and are worth the most points. Behavioral questions are what you would normally be asked during interviews (explain a difficult time and how you handled it, explain a mistake and how you handled it, a time where you did not get something you wanted/applied for and how you pivoted, etc). They are really looking at your character during these interviews. Make sure you come in confidence and dressed appropriately. Be polite and make at the end after you’ve asked your questions it never hurts to thank them for the opportunity and explain WHY you WANT to be at Cooks.

Interview
Hardest interview I have ever been to. Lots of behavioral questions and a case study that was difficult. The staff was very nice and the tour was very fun though. Overall, good experience, just very difficult interview.
