I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Costello Medical in Sep 2022
Interview
There are four rounds to the interview process. 1. Screening call 2. Assessment round 3. Interview round + Presentation round 4. Proof reading rounding It takes a total of 6 weeks or more or (could be less) to complete the entire process. While I was beyond happy that I made through all the rounds of the interview process, I did not get an offer from them. I had read a lot of reviews about this company and I couldn't understand how such a top company could be so unprofessional but sadly I too faced similar scenarios. The interviewers were not that attentive during the interview, they kept emphasising that this is an entry level position yet expected me to know different types of economic models with experience in them as well. What is more ironic is that, a lot of people in the company are from non-health economic background (like taxation, MBA, biochemistry) but everyone belonged from one of the russell group university. I am so disappointed because the company is not open to diversity clearly, especially to the people from not so top universities. As an entry level position, they should be more willing and open to give chance to individuals because we all have to start from somewhere. It also surprised me how they take 6 weeks to complete the process but just took 2 days to reject me from the day of the interview which in a lot of other reviews happened as well. It tells me a pattern that is going around in the company and just like others, it gives me the impression that this is all rather pre-decided from their end. Costello Medical was definitely my dream company to get into but given the trajectory of their unprofessionalism, I am not so sure of how good the company can withstand in the future.
