I attended the interview process for a SOC Analyst role at Cotiviti. The first round consisted of an aptitude test, verbal ability assessment, and technical questions related to IAM (Identity and Access Management) concepts and cybersecurity fundamentals. I successfully cleared this round and was shortlisted for the second round. The second round was a panel interview conducted by three interviewers. They asked questions about SOC operations, SOC automation, incident response, and various real-world scenario-based cybersecurity situations to assess my analytical and problem-solving skills. The third round focused on technical topics including Python, SQL, and SOC concepts. I was asked questions on Python programming fundamentals, SQL queries, database concepts, security monitoring, incident handling, and cybersecurity principles. The interviewers also discussed my project and internship experience and evaluated my understanding of practical cybersecurity concepts.
