Interview
I never spoke to a recruiter, just a text message to set up the interview with hiring manager. This caused some issue due to not having the opportunity to ask on-boarding questions with the recruiter. The interview with the hiring manager went well but proper expectations were not set in regards to timelines for next steps. I didnt hear back for 4 weeks and by that time I was surprised I received a second interview. Second interview was with two individuals, open dialogue no targeted questions. They gave red flags during the conversation that I had to get past. I didnt hear back regarding the second interview for two weeks and that was with a follow up email sent to recruiter, finally I received an apology with a reason of needing more time for a decision. I followed up a week later and was emailed a rejection for the position.
