Interview
The recruiter initially emailed me, and we scheduled a phone call. The recruiter called just one ring, I wasn’t able to answer in time. I reached out 20 minutes later to request a callback, and we had a brief 10-minute conversation. During the call, the recruiter shared the salary range, which was significantly lower than expected.
Two days later, I received an email asking for feedback on the selection process. I followed up with the recruiter to inquire about next steps but didn’t receive a response. Over the weekend, I received a generic message stating that I didn’t meet the minimum requirements.
The experience felt impersonal and mechanical, as if HR processes were becoming increasingly automated, losing the “human” aspect. It was disappointing to be treated this way, especially when personal communication and respect are critical in recruitment.
