Interview
Here's how my interview process went here-
Round 1: Technical round which went on for over an hour. I was asked all sorts of questions. Around the end, I was told that if I got selected in this one, the next round will be HR round
The very next day I got a call from HR that I went through the first round and they wanted to take the next round the next day.
Please note that these time slots were in the middle of the day on weekdays which they refused to change. So there was no other way than to take a leave from current company for both these rounds.
Round 2: The interview round started and to my shock, it was another technical round. I'm not sure why they lied to me before. Anyways I didn't have a problem, the questions were more or less of the same nature as Round 1. However the person who was interviewing me seemed to have narcissistic tendencies, he seemed to cut my answer off in between within the first few words every time I tried to speak and kept telling me how wrong I was. Please note that I have been handling the same work in current company since almost 6 years and I understand that different people might have different ways to handle things. But that doesn't mean that you would undermine the interviewees' methods.
I waited for around 1 week before calling the HR for feedback who informed me that the person who interviewed me has been on leave since the day he interviewed me and hadn't even shared any feedback. Well apart from being narcissistic, that person had proved to be highly irresponsible too.
5 more days went by, tried following up with no response from HR.
After 2 more days, I received the rejection email.
