I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cox Automotive in Feb 2025
Interview
I had a recruiter phone screen, then a panel interview with hiring managers and tech leads that was mostly behavioral with an easy technical question. Said they would let me know by the next day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give a program that returns a list of integers between 1-1000 that are divisible by 2, 5, or 10.
Behavioral seemed to matter a lot more than technical. Both were led by pretty friendly, down-to-earth employees who were reasonably diverse as well. The technical interviewers especially were very accommodating.
No coding, purely resume grilling, and some technical problems related to the skills on your resume. essentially just an hour final round and got offer like 2-3 weeks later. know your resume really well and be prepared to talk about your past experience
There was one initial 30 minute recruiter screening call, then one 45 minute behavioral interview. The behavioral had three engineers and was mostly them questioning me about everything on my resume.
