I applied online. I interviewed at Currys (Milton Keynes, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
I applied online and was given a questionnaire to complete which was fairly easy. I received a call at a random time around a week later and was asked about availability and if I could make it to a group interview 2 days after.
Got to the interview and there was approximately 8 people. We were asked to introduce ourselves and had 2 activities after. One activity was to design a product and sell it to the managers as a group and the next was to review a product we like and explain it to the managers.
After this we were split interviewed 1 on 1 by each manager. I was told that I would get a phone call within the next week on whether I was successful or not. I didn't receive a phone call but rather an email 2 weeks later saying that I didn't get the job.
Definitely the easiest interview I had ever done. It was just an informal chat with one of the managers with really simple and straightforward questions and asking about my availability.
Initial group interview and then one to one afterwards. Very relaxed setting and was made comfortable by staff undertaking interview. The whole process was very quick and communication was great.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Currys
Interview
Fairly easy, staff were friendly and a smooth process. The employers do not make you feel pressurised, it helps when you have previous sales experience but if you show them you are eager to learn and are engaged in tech. they'll definitely want you.
