I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Currys (Swansea, Wales)
Interview
The hiring process was quite straight forward after applying I got a call from the manager to arrange an inshore interview. A majority of their questions are scenario based and directly involved with the job itself rather than things such as a describe yourself. So make sure you know what working in an environment like this is. After the interview I got an email saying I was unsuccessful but a few days later I got a call directly from the manager offering me a job, which was a pleasant surprise. There is a lot of training once you start and a lot of information being thrown at you, and your pay goes up based on you passing tests/quizzes and going to training days. It's also very target driven, always have targets to meet and you get reviewed regularly so underperforming puts a lot of pressure on you which eventually gets to you if you're not a natural saleswoman/man and can't get those add ons but everyone has good and bad weeks
Briefly talk about skills in upselling and sales pitches with customers. They are more interested in upselling insurances and add-on products/services. Technical knowledge on products is not necessary, they will ask you about your ability to hit targets and KPIs every month.

Question 1
You will be walked onto the shop floor, and you will be asked to try to sell a product to the interviewer on the shop floor.
first interview quite easy-going, then if successful, called back for a second interview with the manager. Asked pretty much the same questions plus some that seemed irrelevant that you can't really elaborate on

Interview
got a call to set up an interview date, when I went in the managers were really nice and asked me scenario based questions. after 15 minutes they told me to choose a product and create a scenario for a family friend that might need it and why I chose that specific product for their issue. they took a copy of my passport and national insurance number.
