Interview
The interview process took 6 weeks. I first got an email from HR which surprised me because usually they do a phone screen. The HR lady setup a Google Hangouts screen with the Hiring Manager and the General Manager of Insurance who knew nothing about Healthcare which he said himself. The interview went well and he said I would need to talk to 2 other people. 2 Weeks later the second round was scheduled back to back. Both the interviews went extremely well and one of the people noted that the next step would be for me to come to their office in Boston at then end of the interview.
Then about a week later as a response to my email asking for an update the HR person said that my skillset was not the right match.
I followed up with an email to the HR person and all the interviewers asking for more feedback in terms of what exactly were the concerns since I have been in Healthcare for 15 years, but got no response.
I think this is reflective of the senior leadership and the tone that they have set. I do not believe that this is an organization that values good talent.
