I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DataRobot in May 2021

First-round is with HR, followed by the hiring manager, and 4 more rounds with other team members with the same questions being asked. The process is repetitive, lacks coordination within team.

Question 1
Why Datarobot? Experience with enterprise clients?
The initial round of the interview is scheduled by someone in the team, however, the email just looks like from a robot, the HR did not even share where the hiring manager is based, not even the time zone, you just have to keep adding your available slots, just feel very old fashioned. I had a good conversation with the hiring manager, and one of the interviewers who are very senior did not even show up after HR has kindly helped to schedule it, with no reasons being given. The entire process is exhausting, I just hope Datarobot is able to be more respectful about candidates' time, instead of not be able to coordinate well internally. The CS team is relatively new, if you want to learn more about CS, I would recommend you to apply for job that has established the CS process.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DataRobot (London, England) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview process was really smooth, great communication from Ariel and the whole team with plenty of opportunities to follow up and ask further questions. I was impressed with the open communication all the way through.
The interview process at DataRobot has been one of the most interesting and I have ever experienced. There are interviews set up for them to get to know you professionally and others whose main focus is for you to ask all the questions you want, get to know the company and how it is to work there.
You get to know different people as you go through approx. 4-5 interviews in different locations, with a different role within the company and different perspectives, and always open and happy to answer any questions you may have. I loved that.

Question 1
Can you tell me about critical feedback you have given to someone recently
What has made you successful in all the roles you have been in so far
What is the most recent professional development you have been engaged with
How do you get organized
How do you create champions
I truly enjoyed my experience interviewing with DataRobot for a number of reasons, and recommend anyone debating if they should apply to take the plunge! My positive experience is in no small part thanks to my recruiter, Ariel, and coordinator, Ali. They are both amazing communicators and advocates. I was always followed up with promptly regarding next steps or feedback, even while they were going through a hiring platform change. I interviewed with about 5 different people. Although the process was longer than I have previously experienced, I was appreciative of the opportunity to meet the different team members and can understand the thought process behind meeting everyone. Everyone I met was considerate, thoughtful ( I don’t think I was asked the same question twice), and I got the impression they wanted me to vet the company as well, to make sure I was also comfortable with the fit. A lot of companies like to say an interview is a 2-way street, but DataRobot is the first company I have seen actually mean it! If you are thinking about it I recommend you to apply. Even if it is not the right fit at the time, you will meet some great people.
