It’s well know DataRobot has gone through tons of churn over the years. My experience is that it’s so top-down, that virtually nobody knows what’s going on except a relative few CxOs. I think everyone wants to succeed, the people are good natured and well intended, but unfortunately, nobody is empowered except a select few. This is pretty much exactly what has gotten DataRobot into trouble in the past. Now, they don’t even make decisions on who to hire, internally, anymore. It’s all outsourced. I chose, instead, to go work for a Bay Area software company that really focused on culture, communication and transparency.
