I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at David Weekley Homes (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2014
Interview
Applied online, was referred through a mutual peer. Initial interview with the career specialist was great, she's was wonderful to interview with! Took two assesments after the initial interview and then followed up with two more interviews with project managers. the first PM was great, personable, engaged and made me feel instantly welcomed. The second PM interview was a little more intimidating as an inexperienced applicant, but none-the-less I received an offer 2 weeks following the second PM interview.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at David Weekley Homes (Carrollton, TX) in Jun 2015
Interview
David Weekley takes their interview process very seriously.... maybe a little too seriously. I had EIGHT INTERVIEWS!!! 8!!!!
One of the 8 interviews was with my family! David Weekley wants one of their interviews (usually after the 3rd or 4th interview) to be with "someone who inspires you the most."
You also have to take a "Berk" personality test. And they review that with you and also take that very seriously. They pretty much won't give you the job if the "BERK" test says that you aren't a perfect fit for them.
