It was in depth, and comprehensive, but without being intimidating. I felt that the interview team was sincerely interested in what I could bring to the position, and they asked thoughtful questions. Each person is different, though, and some members of the interview team seemed less practiced than others, and were just reading from a list of questions.

Initially was told of the position by a friend, who recommended me to the hiring director. I submitted the online application, which was a pain, and asked some irrelevant pre-questions. I went in for an interview about 2 weeks later. The first part was with the Director, which was mostly me listening to him. I then met with all the other staff in the department, and answered their questions. This gave me a good idea of the team dynamics, as well as the leadership style.
