Applied online and received a call about a month later. The recruiter was a pleasure to work with, no BS questions, asked me what I was looking for and asked me some questions to see which department I would be a good fit for, since I had experience and applied for advertising, SEO and account management. She told me the company was growing and in demand of employees with automotive digital marketing experience. She told me sometimes hiring is slow, but when they move fast, they move really fast.
She setup a phone interview with the Senior HR Manager the very next week along with a person who had been in my role and who would be training me, likewise a real pleasure to work with, some simple interview questions to get to know me and they both seemed very interested, likewise I asked them many engaging questions. They flew me out to their headquarters in Burlington, VT the very next week and placed me in a 4 star hotel. I was interviewed by a panel of 6 people which was daunting, but they all seemed very young, tech savvy, smart, athletic and personable, I was impressed by the people and also very impressed with the facilities. I could only describe it as a mini Google of Vermont. I flew home the next day and I received a call that they wanted to hire me, could I start in 2 weeks? No joke they do work fast. I appreciated the expediency and it was by far the most pleasant interview I ever had. Relocating and starting in 2 weeks would be a challenge but it was a no brainer for a company that valued a prospective employee and seemed like a good cultural fit.
