Interview
One of the worst processes I've ever had. The interview was very easy, but after that, they sent a "home task" to do. Honestly looks like a free consulting. It was so long and unclear. They expect who will do that, should estimate the Roi, but the company didn't provide any number or data before, so it's impossible to estimate without basic information (like income, spend, etc). It took me almost 5 hours to finish that "test," and then I received an "autoreply" that didn't explain anything. I felt they didn't value my time and effort. 100% unprofessional.
I had a really positive initial conversation with the recruiter for a marketing role at Deel. The process started strong, and I was looking forward to progressing.
I was scheduled to meet with the hiring manager, but the interview was postponed the Sunday before due to events in Israel, which I completely understood and was empathetic toward at the time.
However, after that, communication dropped off entirely. I didn’t receive any updates for over two weeks, and then received a generic rejection email stating they were moving forward with other candidates.
The lack of follow-up or transparency was disappointing, especially after being told I would be progressing to the next stage. If circumstances change, that’s understandable, but clear and timely communication is important.
Overall, a strong start, but the candidate experience fell short due to poor communication and lack of follow-through.

Are asked to complete an assignment for free work then they don't have the decency to give you a formal interview. The assignment should be given after a few rounds other wise you are taking intellectual property.
