Deel Software Engineer interview questions

There was a 30 minute online screening call with. Nice and pleasant talk. Then there was a 3 hour coding home task. Not complicated if you know the stack. And finally an interview with a director and one of engineers. During the interview it became obvious that the director did not like something. No feedback was given when asked for it. The hiring process was stopped after this stage. No clarification of the reason.

The process consisted of multiple stages - first an automated coding skills quiz, then a one-way interview to assess communication skills, then a coding challenge in CodeSignal. Afterwards there was a take home exercise followed by a series of interviews, including some technical questions about the submitted exercise solution, as well as open questions regarding system architecture design etc. Final step was an interview with the CTO of the company.
