Had an initial call which was good, then passed on to a Teams interview with the senior recruitment lady. They didn't have a job description to send me which I thought was suspicious but whatever. The call itself was long and the person felt bored and tired out of her mind, it made me feel quite uncomfortable. It looked like she had switched off and didn't want to be there. A few days after, I received a very generic rejection email stating things like they had an "overwhelming volume of responses" (even though they told me they are not advertising this position), that they went with someone with more suitable experience (even though I was told I was the first one to be interviewed, and that the interviewers will be on holiday for the next 2 weeks, but somehow they still had time to find someone else, what do I know). If someone is not suitable for a role, that's fine, but at least act like you pay attention to these details. It's really not a good look for the company.
