I was invited to a video phone screen with the hiring manager. After that I was invited onsite. The first week of January 2018 I took a day off of work to commute from San Jose to San Francisco. I had gotten to SF early so as not to rush and ensure that I get to the interview on time. Around 30 minutes before my Interview the recruiter called. He asked me if I was close or on my way to the interview. He proceeded to tell me that I would not be interviewing anymore and that he hoped I wasn't too far from home. Can you believe that the day of the interview after I had already spent 1.5 hours commuting to SF the recruiter calls you to tell you that the interview is cancelled because of a re-org? And that he had only found out the night before. Oh wait, why didn't I get a call the night before so I wouldn't WASTE MY TIME going up to SF? Additionally, why didn't the hiring manager have some class and call me directly to apologize after that had happened? This was the most un-professional interview of my life and I don't understand how anyone would want to work at this place. I dodged a bullet, you should as well, go ELSEWHERE.
