Applied via LinkedIn and was contacted by the recruiter. She spent majority of the call selling the company to me: how it was such a great place to work, how the hiring manager of the role used to be her boss and how magnificent she was, which, fine, but unnecessary. Made it to the next round where I spoke to the hiring manager and she went on and on about all of her responsibilities and kept checking in to see if I "felt like I could handle that" which I obviously could based on my background. After a while, I was tired of the back and forth; plus already had an offer elsewhere.
