After initial screening by the recruiter, I've got a remote interview scheduled. But, instead of booking multiple sessions, I spent 4 hours in a interview with two engineers who didn't want to be friendly. After a 3 hours of interrogation about technologies and design patterns, I had to go into a programming challenge where I ended up being misled by one of the interviewers. Quite an unpleasant experience! Interestingly they didn't show much interest in talking about ways of working. The company doesn't seem to value psychological safety and good ways of working. Finally, I´ve got no communication back after the interview for one week so got in touch to find out that I hadn't passed. All right, then asked for a feedback which took then another week to reply with some boilerplate. The whole process showed me what a nasty place this company might be.
