I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Digitas (New York, NY) in Apr 2019
Interview
I was told the team was excited to see me before I went to the interview. I met 4 people in total. However, the first interviewer came in with very low energy who didn't smile and didn't really want to talk. I got really confused and tried to make the conversation alive. He finally laughed a bit at the end of the conversation. The other two people were friendly and easy to talk to. The last interviewer was also a paid search manager. She asked me about what's my favorite excel formula and I told her it's vlookup and index and match. Then I asked back if there was any formula she liked, then she didn't really answer that question for some reasons. She also kept asking similar questions and didn't get into any in-depth conversation. I got confused again and felt maybe she wasn't good at her job. Overall, I felt the whole process was confusing as I was under the impression they were excited to see me. so I expected some energy from the team. but HR was pretty professional throughout the process.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Digitas (Boston, MA) in Apr 2021
Interview
The role unfortunately didn't work out because of a conflict with my current agency, but I enjoyed the interview process overall. The recruiter, Jamie, showed the utmost professionalism throughout. Seemed like a great culture and company to work for with exciting clients and growth opportunities.
