Good health insurance, but poor leadership and inefficiency

Anonymous employee

Business Outlook

Pros

Good health insurance and working hybrid

Cons

Poor leadership and decision-making, with recurring choices that increase complexity instead of solving problems. Resistance to process improvement and constructive feedback. Employees who challenge ineffective practices or propose better solutions often receive negative feedback. Time and effort are frequently wasted on avoidable rework due to poor planning and execution. Technical debt continues to grow because long-term quality is consistently deprioritized. Decisions are often driven by internal politics rather than business or engineering needs. Accountability is inconsistent, and ineffective performance is rarely addressed. High-performing employees may become frustrated by the lack of support for meaningful improvements. Projects experience unnecessary delays because inefficient processes are reinforced rather than corrected. Innovation and continuous improvement are discouraged, making it difficult to drive positive change. Communication between management and technical teams is ineffective, leading to repeated mistakes. The work environment can feel demotivating for employees who value quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Typical Agency but Good People

Pros

Like most hold co's - its all dependent on your team, but the people on my team are genuinely kind and smart folks. Plus its Publicis owned, so business is actively being won

Cons

Classic agency stuff, overworked with many 50+ hour weeks. Publicis' current model is to understaff instead of layoff, so basically every team could use another person. Client has a ton of issues which is not on Digitas at all but does impact the experience.
