      Marketing Designer Interview

      Jan 7, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Doist in Nov 2019

      Interview

I applied with my online portfolio and answered specific questions as a part of the application form. There were three interview rounds, the first with the Head of Marketing, the second with the Head of Design, and the third with the COO. After the first interview there was a design test task which involved creating a mockup of a marketing landing page.

      Interview

A bit too long in my humble opinion (five stages), but at the same smooth and profesional process. Andrew, the recruiter, was very helpful, even though I didn’t make it. Sometimes the responses were a bit delayed, but I understand it, considering how many candidates are applying for a role there. Design task was paid, which was great. I get feedback on why I wasn’t great fit and it was reasonable.

Thank you for the valuable feedback! I'm glad to hear you had a positive experience; that's always a priority for us. We know our process can get lengthy at times, so we'll definitely need to revisit ways that we can streamline/shorten the process while still providing ample opportunity for us and candidates to get to know one another. Thank you again for taking the time to share this with us! - Andrew G. (People Operations)
