The question was about finding unique words in an owl dictionary where words are the same meaning if one word can be derived from the other by removing exactly one letter; e.g caw and caww have the same meaning, so do caww and caaww. By transitivity relation, caw, caww, caaww all have the same meaning so comprise one unique word.
