First there was an HR meeting on the phone, afterwards I met two legal team members in person. We spoke for thirty minutes and they were very friendly and welcoming.

Interview
I first had an initial interview with HR, which lasted approximately 20 minutes. This was followed by a second interview with two Senior Legal Counsels. The second interview had initially been proposed for a later date but was subsequently scheduled two days later. They asked about my availability and sent the invitation before I had the opportunity to respond. Although I found this somewhat unusual, I proceeded with the arrangement.
The second interview lasted over an hour. At the end of the meeting, I was informed that I would receive feedback by mid-next week but I never did. Instead, I had to follow up twice, only to get informed that I was rejected, as they were looking for someone who could work more independently. Apparently, this conclusion was drawn from my response to a question about how I would handle simultaneous assistance requests from different departments that required prioritization. My understanding is that they do not appear to sympathize with a teamwork-oriented approach and instead expect individuals to handle issues on their own.

Question 1
How would you handle and prioritize multiple, simultaneous requests from different departments?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Dyson (Malmesbury, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
I applied for a role at Dyson online, submitting a tailored CV and cover letter shortly after midnight. By 8am the same morning, I received an automated message saying my application had been “successfully withdrawn.”
This withdrawal was not initiated by me, and no explanation was provided. There was no indication my application was reviewed, and the system now prevents me from reapplying because it shows I have already applied.
Rejections are understandable, but an unexplained system withdrawal is unprofessional. A simple rejection email or brief clarification would have been far more appropriate.
