Applied online through Dyson's careers site which has a few bugs, but is fairly straight-forward.
A couple of weeks later, I received an email from a Dyson recruiter asking for convenient times to contact me to which I responded.
After a week or so I had still not heard anything, so I called the recruiter who essentially conducted a phone interview and at the end said that they'd like to interview me in person.
Less than a week later I received an email with a date and time for the interview.
I arrived at the gate 30 minutes before my interview time but was told that I wasn't due until later. The guard let me in and I had the same conversation at reception. They also asked if I had brought my passport, which I hadn't been told to do, so hadn't! One of them remarked that "this is going to be a waste of time". I also hadn't been told that my interview time had been changed, thankfully later and not earlier.
The interview was fairly standard and was reasonably informal. There were 2 technical staff who said they were impressed with my CV, explained the Dyson company structure and asked me about my experience. Unfortunately I don't think my interview performance was as representative of my potential as my CV.
Upon conclusion one of the interviewers said that they would be in touch in the next 2 weeks. That was 5 weeks ago and I've still had no communication of any sort. I noticed the job was reposted with the date of my interview, so I guess I'm left to draw my own conclusions!
