Interview
I first applied on Dyson's website. I then received an email saying my experience and academic record qualified me for a first round video interview. The video interview was done using a system called HireVue, which gives you the questions over video and in text. Then you have 30 seconds to prep and then record the answer (with a max answer time limit of 3 minutes for most questions). Mostly behavioral questions with a couple skills question, one being an extended answer case question as the last question.

Tell me about a time you were a trailblazer. What were the steps you took and the obstacles you had to overcome?
Received rejection email then get another email saying they'd like to progress me to next stage. When confronting recruiter of this they say theres no record of this and for me to check again. Forwarded the email to them and no apology just "how strange". Scheduling was also unnecessarily difficult and their tone was not pleasant or welcoming at all.
Causal and smooth. Typical interview session where they asked about motivation & situational questions. 2 rounds and each round about an hour each - one with the reporting manager and the other with the business teams.
