Interview
It wasn’t a good interview. Started out with interviewer not switching his video on, so basically it was a phone interview. He sounded very lazy. He wasn’t prepared, so I lead the interview and asked the questions. Prepping for the interview was useless.
HR will email you on Sundays and send you multiple mass email, but doesn’t reply when you ask for updates. It doesn’t seem like she knows how to send an email invite.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dyson in Mar 2026
Interview
Interview process was quite smooth, this is for non-technical/engineer role, First, HR will reach out for filter/screening call and ask about basic self intro, why you'd like to join, why you're leaving, salary compensation. Up to you whether to disclose at this stage, or after all the interviews. They'd also explain about job scope and team structure. However, for specific details, might need to clarify with hiring team.
Pleasant chat with the HR person, the interview with the hiring manager was rather boring, overall impression is very bland, no enthusiasm or any positive energy. Then of course they ghosted as many people mentioned before as well. Overall it's a company I'd not be happy to work for. STOP GHOSTING PEOPLE, it's very disrespectful!
Multiple rounds with different stakeholders, overall experience was ok but long. Waited quite some time to be contacted but recruitment team. Also waited some time to receive feedback. Hope to have upfront explanation of the interview steps and timelines going forward.
