My interview was with the Amsterdam office. First impression: it seems like a medium-large startup but with the all pressure and stress dealings of a big corporation at the neck. I decided to accept the invitation for the interview rounds but it turned out to be disappointing. The process consisted of a number of calls with HR, the hiring manager, their boss, and various other stakeholders, and the atmosphere was very rigorous and strictly business-focused, with little to no regard for the candidates' enthusiasm, creativity or motivation. HR came across as very critical and judgmental, while the rest of the team seemed quite stressed and overly busy. Questions were very much detailed and the expectations from their side were high. The interviewers concentrate solely on what I can do for the company, barely scratching the surface of who I am as a person, with the exception of a classic "tell me about yourself" question. I decided to withdrwa my application because they came in really too harsh and not welcoming. Also, the conditions they offer aren't competitive at all but rather pretty mediocre if compared to other companies.
