I applied online. I interviewed at Dyson (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2015
Interview
Applied online.
Phone interview: 1 month after applying. Basic background and behavioral questions. Was told I'd hear back in 1 week if I'd make it to the next round. which turned out to be 5 weeks.
In person interview: basic interview, behavioral questions. One with HR and 1 with hiring manager. HR seemed interested in leadership skills and how I'd fit into the Dyson culture. Was told decision would be made in 1-2 weeks. Took 7 weeks and several unanswered emails to finally hear they decided with another candidate (not surprised)

I applied online. I interviewed at Dyson (Singapore) in Oct 2025
Interview
Applied online and spoke with HR before all went cold. 6 months later, the HR reached out again. She was transparent and mentioned previously they were in advanced stages with other candidates, but (none) were hired in the end. First round with the deputy department head, online, followed by an assignment (given 48 hours). Next was in-person meeting with team lead and deputy department head and presenting the assignment.
After the interview, was told the usual "interwiews are still in progress etc". Sent a follow-up message to HR and again, went cold and ghosted.
While everyone was polite, I do agree with reviewers here that the ghosting behaviour of HR leaves much to be desired; especially after candidates had poured time and resources in the interview.
Completed online application form and then got invited to do online tests. Usual tests, non verbal and maths questions etc didnt take too long. then got invited to do video interview which asked competency questions

I applied online. I interviewed at Dyson (Malmesbury, England)
Interview
I initially had a telephone interview with the manager of the department I was applying for. This was more of a conversation than set questions (what could I bring to the team and what to expect). I then had an interview at Dyson HQ and was asked standard interview questions, once again this turned into more of a conversation.
