I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Dyson (London, England) in Aug 2019
Interview
After having a phone interview with the Talent Acquisition Partner responsible for me I was invited to interview in their Central London location, right above their Oxford Street store. The interview in itself was fairly standard, a mix of relaxed questions and more stiff questions also. There were a few things, however, that weren't ideal. In the official email confirming the interview I was told I would receive feedback on the interview within 5 working days regardless of the outcome. One of the interviewers wasn't informed of this and kept joking that he didn't know if management would let me know if I didn't get the job, because after all he had been successful when he applied, so how would he know. Very odd and inappropriate thing to say in my opinion.
Nonetheless, the thing that really made this a bad experience was the radio silence after the interview. I had to chase my Talent Acquisition Partner for weeks and weeks only to find out after over a month of relentless emailing that they had restructured their team again and wouldn't actually hire for this position.

Question 1
I was asked to elaborate on my past experience and how it would suit this position. Nothing unexpected, really.
