They gave me a take home 7-day AI/ML software project. I've spent 3-4 weeks working on the RAG pipeline end-to-end submitted before deadline and is fully-functional and thoroughly tested with PyTest (All PASSED), PyTest-cov (All PASSED), and my RAG code answered with with "surgical precision" results from their pdfs ingestion with RAGAS (Faithfulness: 1.000, Answer Relevancy: 0.818, Context Recall: 1.000, Answer Correctness: 1.000, Context Precision=1.000) and working flawlessly. After 3 weeks of working on this RAG code, I was on top of things and everything is under control and I charted a "compliance matrix" comparing my Python code vs their SOW: Compliance 100+% (I added advanced RAG features on top of their basic SOW), I went to the 90-minute Final Case Study workshop and I knew something is amiss since the hiring manager was numbed and distant, although what I've submitted was above and beyond their requirements (12 Python files source code) in the SOW, and then some. I got everything under control and I was on top of things on this project code and also I aced the Final Case Study workshop interview. The 3 persons AI/ML panel asked me very basic questions. Three days after my Final Case Study interview they sent me a decline email without any explanation (others have pointed out before me) whatsoever. I was livid. I had a hunch that something is fishy so I added a copyright banner in all the 12 Python files I wrote. This is a theft of trade secrets under false pretenses. This is a job scams in action!
