FOR CO-OP STUDENTS. Here's the process. 1. networking events in the summer/fall (or whenever your school has them). 2. a dinner for prospective candidates (I skipped this process). 3. interview: typically with 2 audit managers that switched into recruiting, or you could also interview with partners! unlikely you will interview with someone that does not have an audit or tax background. 4. with my school you are ranked/given an offer on the same day or in a short period of time.

nothing was unexpected, if you look at the typical interview questions and prepare ahead of time, there was nothing surprising. there were some random questions that try to probe the kind of person you are. b/c you're interviewing for entry level, there is less focus on your technical skils... focus is on whether you're good with people, can learn, can deal with pressure/difficult situations. you'll be client facing so don't act so "dead".
2 interviews. 1 with HR by phone. 1 with 2 directors and a senior manager over zoom call. Less than 30 minutes each. Overall relaxing. We discussed about my experience at the previous firms and all the basics.

Easy, they are just asking behavourial questions. For a starting career in Halifax, the pay was low for a master degree. But they are willing to negotiate depending of your skills and your experience
