Applied online. HR emailed me a month later to set up a call with an HR representative who knew nothing about the role. The call was easy and very friendly in nature. Then heard nothing back. Asked for an update two weeks later. HR replied with "I don't know". When you're recruiting senior level leadership (any candidates really), please exercise some courtesy and promptly notify the candidates. The world is smaller than you know. No offer or rejection. Just silence. I'm sure I'll receive a blanket rejection next year from them.
