The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epson Europe
Interview
The initial call with HR and the follow up interview with the hiring manager went well. I was told that I’d progressed in the process and there’d be a third round for which I’d have to prepare further materials.
However, neither the third interview invite nor the materials ever came and only after chasing the recruiter I was told they’d changed their minds and I wouldn’t be progressing further.
Not a professional recruitment process at all, they make it look like they have a complete disregard for candidates. Dodged a bullet with this company.

Question 1
Questions about previous experience and how my experience would fit the new role
I am sorry to hear about your experience. We take a huge amount of care in how we recruit candidates, and we want people to have a great experience when they interview with us. If you would like to discuss further, please get in touch with me at epic@epson.eu - Kind regards, Ethan
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epson Europe (Hemel Hempstead, England) in Mar 2022
Interview
Epson head hunted me for a position.
Initial call to discuss what I'm looking for and to discuss the position. Call went well and I was put forward to the hiring manager.
Instead of a teams interview, I was asked to attend a face to face knowing that I am quite far from their location.
Attended the face to face interview, which I believe went well.
Waited a week for an update to eventually be told that I do not have enough experience and they will not be progressing.
Not at all good service, they headhunted me, they knew my experience. Very poor.
We do proactively contact potential candidates to see whether they might be interested in working for Epson. Generally our process might be to have a Teams interview at a first stage, and then have a face to face second interview. The first interview focuses on your work history and the second interview is a competency based interview which indicates the likely success in the role. It may have been that we had multiple candidates for this role, and there was someone more suited. If you have any concerns you would like to discuss, please email epic@epson.eu
