I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Extended Stay America (Chesapeake, VA) in Apr 2015
Interview
The interview process was ok. I was interviewed by the housekeeping supervisor and her head housekeeper. It wasn't formal and I wasn't expecting to get called in that day so I went as I was. I'm thankful that it wasnt. They painted a pretty picture for me but that picture was extremely flawed.
there's a face-to-face interview with the general manager then they do a background check. Corporate does the background check to make sure you don't have a criminal record for stealing.
Other than the twenty-minute wait in the lobby, it was a fairly quick interview. The manager cuts to the chase but remains respectful of boundaries and such. I was told I was hired the day after.
