I applied online. I interviewed at FH Cann & Associates (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2021
Interview
It was a large group virtual interview initially that was pretty chaotic. After you go to their website and complete another application, regardless of any previous applications, you then have to complete another web contact form and alert the moderators that you have completed all required steps. They will then look at all your final application materials and verify qualifications. If you pass, you will then offered an individual interview with a supervisor in a private breakout session. However, if you do not pass the final stage, you will be summarily ignored until you get an email that the system automatically generates alerting you to your rejection.
At this point in the application, I had already taken several rather lengthy tests in addition to the application I submitted online. I passed with flying colors and was invited to interview and requested to select a time. Unfortunately, it was not quite as I expected.
The virtual interview and ancillary application process was tedious, chaotic, and unexpected. Additionally, there were significant barriers to employment that should have been clearly posted on the ORIGINAL job posting! If I had known that this one little thing would disqualify me from proceeding, even though I qualify for an exemption, I would not have wasted my time!
Their customer service positions require federal security clearance, which is far more involved than just a standard background check - and it includes a complete financial check. Unfortunately, if you have ANY outstanding debt of ANY kind that is older than 180 days and not on a payment plan, then you are automatically disqualified unless you qualify for an exemption.
I almost died of Covid last year and my medical bills are about $500,000 - I owe a catastrophic percentage of that even with insurance. So, yes. I have outstanding debt that is older than 180 days. But it was due to the pandemic and I qualify for an exemption. HOWEVER, FH Cann DOES NOT allow any exemptions whatsoever. They simply refused to speak to further when I answered honestly.
So, between the chaos and the truly questionable, possibly discriminatory hiring practices, I would proceed with caution.
