I actually double-dipped in this pool. A recruiter initially messaged me on LinkedIn back in September about this position, and following a good phone screen, I advanced to a Zoom interview with a panel of 3 people on Monday of the next week. The questions they asked were essentially repeats of the phone interview, which seemed to go fine from my perspective, although they were deadpanning me the whole time. I was told I'd hear back within a few days and could reach out to the recruiter anytime if I had any follow-up questions. I did contact her with a question via email and she never responded until finally at the end of the day on Friday of that week, when she finally called me to say they were passing me over for a final round because I "lack leadership experience" - which I found pretty funny as someone with over a decade of leadership experience. Fast forward to July, when I saw the same position posted and threw my resume at it for the heck of it. A different recruiter contacted me via email about a week later inviting me to schedule a phone screen on Calendly, which I did. When the day and time came, the call did not. I waited 20 minutes for my phone to ring before emailing the recruiter, who responded an hour later asking if I could talk the next day instead. That was the entirety of his email; he didn't apologize, didn't explain what happened, anything like that. I said that I could make the following day work... only for him to ghost me again! I was annoyed at this double waste of my time, but then I read up on this company and saw all the negative reviews citing appalling behavior, staff mistreatment, and lots of looking the other way and enabling general awfulness as they move rather hastily towards an IPO. I've clearly dodged a bullet. Thank you to the folks who rejected me the first time and the unprofessional recruiter who blew me off two days in a row for allowing me to avoid the misery of working at Fetch.
