Applied through LinkedIn and went through 4 rounds of interviews (one with the screening manager and 3 separate ones with various parts of who I'd be interacting with). Interviews varied from nice conversations to what felt like interrogations with interviewers just going through their list of questions. Overall everyone was very nice and I did enjoy talking to them.
But by the last interview I honestly felt the position was incorrectly marketed. They weren't looking for someone to do research and investigations (which is what the OSINT says to me) but rather someone to assist with their communications and marketing efforts. Which is something OSINT can do but it was not what I thought this job was.
Didn't hear back for several weeks (right before a holiday weekend which is something I really wish hiring organizations would stop doing) and was unsurprised to hear I did not get the job. I'm not entirely sure I would have accepted it as it does require a relocation (which would not be reimbursed) so ultimately it seemed to work out in the end.
