First Solar uses an in-depth topgrading structured interview process to select "A-players", This method is focused on behavioral questions about how you handled specific types of situations in the past.
The areas follow the corporate core values (People Matter, Safety First, Resutl Matter, Deep Customer Partnerships, etc..) For each area, the interviewer(s) ask for an example of when you did well at demonstrating that trait, as well as an example of when you did not demonstrate that trait.
There is also a "structured interview" portion where the hiring manager will ask many questions about all of your past jobs, especially what you did best/worst there, and whatyour old manager would say about you from those roles.
