Had two phone interviews (a pre-screen and phone interview with the hiring manager). After that was asked to come for an in-person interview. The interview was 3 hours (which went over on time). I felt this was excessive, especially as someone who is currently employed it's complicated to request 3 hours out of the middle of my workday. They had you meet with several team members and leadership team from HR as well as someone from the Operations team, which is nice. However, there were so many people they were trying to cram into this 3 hours time span they they all ran over on time, there wasn't time for questions, and it felt rushed. I think this would be much better set up as a panel interview that takes less time overall, still gives you face time with all the team members, and allows for an open Q&A forum with the team.
To make it worse, after this lengthy process, I was told I would be notified the week following my in-person interview of the company's decision. Then I was completely ghosted. Over a month after my interview, I finally reached out to them and was given a bunch of random excuses and told that they extended an offer to another candidate.
