      Benefits Specialist Interview

      Dec 28, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Mansfield, MA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fisher Agencies (Mansfield, MA) in Nov 2016

      Interview

Heavily recruited by phone and they want you to interview immediately either Monday or Tuesday around 11 or 11:15. You show up thinking its a typical one on one interview only to find there are 20-30 other people there. You turn in your resume to the secretary and they have you fill out this lengthy "personality profile". In the meantime there are 2 or 3 people that come out and call names. Once you are called in you have literally a two min interview. This interview is not with who you scheduled with initially. They ask you a few questions and if you "qualify" they "invite" you to a business presentation. The business presentation is further info about the company which is made to sound very enticing. The presenter is a yound mid 20's guy who is your typical "from zero to hero" person. They make so much money now and love their life and want you to also. After the hour long presentation they have you turn in the personality profile and best time for a final interview (that Wed, Thurs, or Fri) and whether or not you are still interested. They claim they are only looking to fill 5-7 positions (out of the 25 that were in the room), and if you are one of the lucky ones you will get a call between 5p and 7p that evening. Once you get the call they have you come in later that week at the specified time to review everything. They try to get you to sign right then and there without giving a ton of information.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Portland, ME
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fisher Agencies (Portland, ME) in Apr 2019

      Interview

group setting, pyramid scheme vibe. These people seem unprofessional, and they want you to make them commissions just like some sort of MLM scheme. Stay away from this company if you have any self respect. The job application is simply your SSN and your credit card information. This seems like a well-disguised scam of some sort. The est way I can explain it is, the only way i ever felt like this before while going through the "interview process" was the time I was strong-armed by a new car salesman,

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

they really didn't ask anything - seems like they will hire anyone. Keep away! Run! What more do I have to type before I can submit this. Do yourself a favor ans stay away from Fisher Agencies. I felt dirty in their presence.
