I started interviewing with Flexential via an recruitor screening call July 17, followed by a hiring manager introductory call the next day. Things went well and I was asked for a video interview with my potential peers a week later.
Shortly after that, I was contacted and asked to go onsite to spend all afternoon talking to 6 additional people for over four hours. I showed up early, met with a wonderful gentlemen who helped guide me through the schedule and had nice conversations with everyone. I brought in several binders with cotton watermarked paper containing a 90-day plan, work examples, and an information security program preliminary design along with another copy of my resume. At the end of the afternoon, we wrapped things up and I was told the recruiter would be in touch.
And then I was ghosted.
Today marks 3 weeks from that onsite interview and there's been absolutely no contact. There have been no updates, calls, or emails since I left their site that day. Followup attempts I've made have been completely ignored by both recruiting and the hiring manager.
So, I assume they weren't interested or there's some kind of delay in filling the role. Maybe headcount was a concern or maybe there was a hiring freeze, I don't know. What I do know is that I spent probably 15-20 hours interviewing and preparing only to be completely ignored and discarded.
Thanks, Flexential.
