I applied online - completed a lengthy questionnaire and had to record a 1 minute spiel about myself. After a few weeks I figured I hadn't been short-listed as I saw the job was re-advertised.
However, I got an email shortly after that saying I had been selected to progress to the next stage which was a 15 minute phone call. I followed the link and chose my prefered time slot to be called.
The lady called a few minutes late, she was very friendly, apologised for the wait and asked if I was still able to take the call then thanked me for my flexibility.
She asked me a few standard questions and more about my history and previous work experiences.
She said the goal is to gain repeat clients and build my own client base and that is how you really begin to do well with commissions.
I asked about a start date - She said they are quite flexible and have training programs commencing every 2 weeks so they would slot me into one of those if successful.
I asked if the pay is weekly or monthly - she said it is every 2 weeks and that if I progress to the next stage then I'll be told more details about those kinds of things.
I asked when I would know if I was progressing or not. She said she has a few more calls to make but I will be contacted either way next week.
