I interviewed in Victoria, BC Canada (not a head office location so it was a little bit different)
I applied online and was invited to the first phone interview - my interviewer was super enthusiastic and outgoing, very welcoming on the phone, we went over my travel experience and why i wanted to work at FC. from there, later that week she contacted me for a behavioural interview via phone again (we do not have group assessment days as I am not in a head office location or near one). There was another girl interviewing on the conference call with me. Again interviewer was extreamly pleasant and easy to talk to, she alternated asking different questions to me and the other girl for about 45 minutes. These were definitely difficult questions and I'm glad i came to this website first to prepare a bit - totally helped. She then went over info about FC and all the benefits etc of the company. At the end of the phone interview she immediately offered us both to move to the final round of in-store assessments. I would note that they will ask questions in the interview for SPECIFIC TiMES, and will want recent examples. My in-store assessment included meeting the area leader and store manager of my potential store, and a 8-10 page workbook including writing draft client e-mails, making up fake travel plans, tons of geography questions, local store questions ect. I was aloud to use my phone/interet and ask questions. The office staff was so nice! I felt completely at ease. Then they again went over goals, the buzz nights, globe awards, and all the exciting travel opportunities. From there, the area leader and store manager took me for coffee and asked me a few more questions - goal oriented mostly, and how i would market myself. It was super laid back and i felt i really connected with them both. At the end (about 3 hours), i asked when i would hear back. the area leader then told me i had gotten the job and congrats because they never hire on the spot! I am SO EXCITED. They fly me out to group training (2 weeks) in another city, providing hotel, meals and travel expences. If you get hired you should feel very accomplished as they told me the hiring rate is less than 5%! I am beyond excited to work with like-minded and motivated people. good luck to everyone applying and just be yourself and friendly!
