So i found the whole process very fast... I applied for the position on their website and received an email later that same day from their recruiter asking me to choose a suitable time for a phone interview. The phone interview was fairly basic, she asked some questions on my current career and why i was looking for a career change towards travel. She seemed pleased with the phone interview and asked if i would be free the next day for a face to face interview which i accepted. She also said that she would send me an email with a computerised questionnaire that i had to complete before the interview. The questionnaire took about 40 mins to complete and had about 10 sections to it with basic personality questions to intense mathematical questions. I think i did rather bad at the math part, i was quite nervous as it was being timed. The interview ended up being in a small interview room with two other young ladies and we had to fill out another test like document requiring geography skills and math again. The geography part was fairly easy for me and consisted of questions like - 1. in which country would you find the Louvre? 2. name 5 places you would go on a skiing trip? 3. name the capitol cities of the 5 counties listed 4. name 10 major airlines and their country base The math was harder for me again, but they give you a calculator. An example of the question was- 1. if a family of four, consisting of 2 adults, one 15 yo and one infant want to fly to the UK and the adult fare is $1400, children between the ages of 12 and 17 are 75% of the adult fare and infants are 10% of the adult fare, what is the total cost inclusive of 10% commission? After the 10 mins is up to complete the test the recruiter came in and we took turns answering her questions. They were mainly focused on explaining how me embrace our daily tasks, and we were asked to give examples on how we use what skills we have to complete tasks on a day to day basis. after about 5 questions she told us to wait outside the room and we took turns going in for a private interview which was just really a basic chat on the role and what our preferred store location would be and she said she would be in contact within a week to let us know the outcome. I think in that time she called my references and on the 2nd day i found out i got the job! So the whole process from the time i applied to the outcome of getting the job took a week.
