I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Flight Centre Travel Group (Auckland, Auckland) in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied online and received a call a few days later and had a chat with the recruiter on what the job is and the skills I have. After this I was invited to an interview.
The interview was a group one in which we sat and listened to information about the company, their benefits etc as well as pay and incentives.
Then there were I believe 6 behavioural questions asked which were actually rather horrible to answer in front of other people, the trick appears to be concise but detailed.
You then get a brochure and need to read it to sell a product to the recruiter on a one on one interview. This was pretty simple and simply involved being quick to sell the benefits of the product (you can read it off the brochure).
Finally, they discussed your CV and goals and let you go on your way.
I heard back a couple of days later and accepted the role.

Question 1
Explain a time you won a sale and how did you do it.

Interview
Initially started as group stages, being asked questions to whittle our people they probably saw as having too much pre-existing sales type focus. The more formal interview was comfortable and not stressful. This was done in groups of 3.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flight Centre Travel Group (Edmonton, AB) in Sep 2019
Interview
Got an invite for a 15 minute phone interview the day after I applied. The recruitment specialist was extremely kind and informative, he asked basic questions pertaining to my resume and gave a brief breakdown of the job.
I was immediately moved to the next stage which was a 45 minute phone interview with the same person, going more in-depth of the job, and more personalized questions from a personality/skill quiz which took about an hour to complete. 10 questions, the last 3 were timed and included deciphering backwards sentences and basic math.
After the second phone interview, I was invited to an in-store assessment day where I completed a work book consisting of fun geography sections such as capital cities, airport codes, time zones, etc. I then had a 1:1 with my manager and it was super casual and easy-going. Probably the best interview i've ever had.
Next day I was offered the job, which was subject to 2 reference checks.

Interview
Many questions, asking about both past travel experience, past work experience and where you'd like to travel to next. Very easy going and allows for real conversation. The interviewer really broke down what the corporate culture was like and helped me become more interested in the job.
