I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flight Centre Travel Group (Melbourne) in May 2015
Interview
First you fill out a online application or if you have a friend who works there get them to reefer you.
second you are invited to a phone interview, they are normal questions don't panic.
thirdly if you've still survived the cull thus far, you are invited to a group assessment day.
Here you watch a video about the company then you are asked questioned and encouraged to ask questions yourself about the video and company. Then we were trained in Galileo commands pretty easy if you are used command prompt computing. lastly they explain their seven tips of selling, you are then given a assessment of which a customer comes in (this is all on paper). You are then to decide which detestation and airline is right for customer. Be warned their is only one right answer and the customer can be quite vague with her answers. "somewhere cultured." "I love high end shopping." There is a book and you are to pick out of six destinations, hotels and airlines which is right for the customer based on her answers.
But you are put out of your misery after the 15 mins is up, they then tell you if all answers are right you will proceed to the next step. if any are wrong you are to be sent packing and apply again in six months... "they told the entire group to return with travel experience and sales experience."
